Microsoft set to buy Yahoo!

News link is here: http://www.gg.net.nz/2008/02/04/microsoft-bidding-for-yahoo/

What are your thoughts on this? Do you care? Do they deserve each other?

haha so true so true.

Apparently there was a reply from Yahoo! that they may take a while to review the offer. But it's about 45$ million US so that's close to $50+ Billing NZ

as was mentioned in the article, google + yahoo = giant beyond measure

microsoft + yahoo = still not as big as google.

so a google + yahoo merger is unlikely to be approved.

yea apparently Google are fighting against the Microsoft & Yahoo! merger as they believe it would be a monopoly and wouldn't promote competition.

Perhaps it's just me, but for that sort of money, I'd sell out immediately.
